Andy Webb is the driving force behind A.P.Webb Plant Hire Ltd. With a continuing desire to invest in state of the art and highly innovative plant as well as improving customer service and relations, A.P.Webb Plant Hire has undergone rapid growth since it was established in 1971.

Malcolm has been with the company over 30 years. For the past 18 years Malcolm has been involved on a daily basis with the development regulation and use of Road Rail Plant within the industry.

John Webb - Civil Engineer
John graduated from Coventry University in 2003 with a degree in Civil Engineering. John is now primarily based at our sister company Rail-Ability Ltd at which he is now a Director but where required he is our on site Civil Engineer as well as a fully qualified Machine Operator.

Roy Wood - ?? Manager
Roy has been with us for several years and oversees the general day to day running of the business as well as the organisation of our operators on a daily basis.
Paul Helks - Operations Compliance Manager
Paul oversees the maintenance and compliance of all road rail machinery in the fleet ensuring that all documents and records are up to date. Paul also manages our Railway Safety Case, deals with any site accidents or incidents and more recently is overseeing the development of our Training School.

Stephen Peak - I.T Supervisor
Steve graduated from the University of Exeter in 2002 with a degree in Computer Science and now runs our I.T Department. Steve looks after all of our networked systems, hardware and software, develops our company database systems and maintains our website and various other promotional material.
Connie Lennox - Plant Hire Manager
Connie joined us in October 2003 having graduated from The University of Liverpool. She now has 4 years experience within the Construction & Rail industries, has undertaken C.I.T.B and P.T.S qualifications and is one of our Managers On Call for out of hours service.

Malcolm Bennett - Transport Manager
Malc has been with the company since 1989 and has over 25 years experience in the transport and plant industry. Originally an HGV driver for the company, Malc moved in to management several years ago. Malc holds a full heavy goods license and a C.I.T.B rail and construction plant license, as well as P.T.S and C.P.C qualifications.

Debbie has been with the Company since 1988 in various roles. Currently assisting with the Company document control system, and maintaining the Approved Suppliers Register. Debbie is also the editor of our quarterly Company Newsletter – The “Webbsite”.

Joanne Gilman - Training Coordinator
Jo is responsible for arranging and scheduling our training with the trainers and dealing with all the administrative work that must be done in order for our Training School to maintain its high standards.

Jim Wright - Trainer
Jim is a qualified CPCS Construction Plant Instructor & Assessor , CPCS Road/Rail instructor & Assessor, RPA Trainer & Assessor, and City & Guilds NVQ Assessor. He also hold the City & Guild A1 Award. Jim joined the company in 1998. He has considerable experience in construction and civil engineering work. He has been involved in rail for 8 yrs, and previously came from an agricultural based work environment.
